MAINSTREAM MEDIA SHOWS CONTINUED COMPLICITY IN THE UFO/ET COVER-UP!

      Most of the mainstream media once again have clearly shown their complicity in the UFO/ET cover-up, by either ignoring the Citizen Disclosure Hearing altogether, or by continuing to marginalize the subject with negative spin.  What is especially galling, to many of us in the growing alternative media that report honestly on the subject, is that this event is taking place in the mainstream media’s own Washington Press Building, only blocks away from the White House.  http://www.citizenhearing.org/

         Steve Bassett who runs the Exopolitics World Network (EWN), and his partner in this venture, Avatar’s Reuben Langdon,   http://www.reubenlangdon.com/  are doing a wonderful job on the Citizens Hearing. Reuben is not to be confused with Steve Bassett’s financial backer who put up the funds for the Citizens Hearing. Thomas Clearwater of Canada provided the funds for this project.  Steve announced this on a Coast to Coast interview recently.     

     They have all pulled together at great expense, many of the best investigators and researchers the UFO community has to offer, to provide a history of the cover-up and the evidence supporting the extraterrestrial presence.  They are presenting this huge body of evidence for 5 days before a 6 member panel of retired members of Congress.  This is something Congress, if it is truly of by and for the people, should have done itself. 

     Lee Spiegel is honestly covering the Hearing writing for the Huffington Post, and is himself marginalized under Weird News.  He comments, “Cong. Roscoe Bartlett gets a little testy about the press coverage so far about this week's Citizen Hearing On Disclosure:” Roscoe had said,  "I've been looking at some of the press clippings from yesterday's session and the government has been quite successful in relegating this issue to the lunatic fringe.”  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/01/citizen-hearing-on-disclo_1_n_3193161.html  

     Chris Moody of Yahoo News on the other hand does all he can to further marginalize UFOs and the Hearing.  He titles his hit piece Ex-lawmakers search for intelligent life in Washington and says, “Like a bunch of nostalgic, former high-school football players tossing around the pigskin at a 20-year reunion, they peppered witnesses as though they were back in the game on Capitol Hill.” http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/ex-lawmakers-search-signs-intelligent-life-washington-d-225559027.html     

     Somewhere between the Internet alternative media and the mainstream media Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam paper The Final Call, plays it straight. We can usually see what kind of coverage we are going to get by the title of the articles published. The Final Call titles theirs honestly as, Citizen Hearing tackles government secrecy and the truth about the presence of UFOs.      Overall it’s been somewhat of a mixed bag and successful news coverage in general, but nothing to write home about so far with the news wires, the large newspapers, and CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN are doing their best to ignore the Hearing.  Still I am happy with the coverage and the Citizen Hearing is a big plus for disclosure, but it’s just another step on the long hard road to disclosure.
